ECHO RIFT — PRIVACY POLICY
Effective date: July 5, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information the mobile game Echo Rift ("the Game", "we", "us") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. By playing the Game you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
- If you sign in with Google: we receive your name and email address to create and identify your account.
- If you play as a Guest: we do not collect your name or email. A random anonymous identifier is created so your progress can be saved to your device session.
- Gameplay data: your character, level and progress, in-game currency, arena and dungeon results, referral codes, and settings — stored so you can continue your game across sessions.
- Basic technical data needed to run the service securely (e.g. request timestamps for anti-cheat).
We do not show third-party advertising, we do not use third-party analytics or tracking SDKs, and we do not track you across other apps or websites (no advertising identifier / IDFA). We do not sell your personal data.
2. How we use your information
- To run the Game and save your progress.
- To operate multiplayer features such as the arena and leaderboards.
- To protect the Game against cheating, abuse, and fraud.
- To respond to your support requests.
3. Where your data is stored
Your account and gameplay data are stored on our backend provider Supabase (cloud-hosted PostgreSQL). Data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections.
4. Sharing
We only share data with the service providers needed to run the Game: Supabase (data hosting) and, if you choose it, Google (sign-in). We do not sell or rent your data to anyone.
5. Your choices & account deletion
You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time from inside the Game: Settings → Delete Account. Your data will be removed within 30 days. You may also email us for any privacy request.
6. Children
Echo Rift is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version and its effective date are always shown at the top of this page.
